With the Audi A3 being selected as one of the hottest new cars for 2015 and our beloved four-ringed brand maintaining a strong sales pace of this new model (12,329 cars sold since launch) along with a few other models, it's no wonder that the company has achieved the best month ever in the history of U.S. sales.

One of the highlights is that Audi holds the longest running monthly record sales streak in the premium car market according to a competitive sales report from MotorIntelligence.com. August was the 44th consecutive month of record monthly U.S. sales for the brand.

Besides the astronomical increase in sales for the A3, another standout are the sales for the Q7. Year-to-date sales grew 25.1% compared to the previous period. The TT had a significant decrease in sales, but with the next generation TT making its way to the sales floor, I'm sure those numbers will change for the better.
